Week 17 // Day 3

David is appointed and made King of Israel and unites God’s people into one and establishes its Capitol as Zion. As God’s people now have their home, David begins to establish a permanent home for God through a tabernacle. 2 Samuel 7 is a key chapter as God blesses David and makes a promise that a future King will come from his line that will establish an eternal kingdom and will fulfill God’s promise to Abraham.
