Week 13 // Day 4

As Joshua is in a battle with an Angel of the Lord, it is shown that the focus of God’s people isn’t their fight against their enemies but rather God’s battle and plan. As Joshua is at the end of his ministry, he calls the Israelites to do the same as Moses did, to be faithful to their God and to reject false gods. With an overview of Israel’s cycle of sin (Judges 2), the book of Judges shows the progression of good leaders to terrible leaders of God’s people.
