Week 15 // Day 5

As Israel’s need for wise and faithful leaders grows, 1 Samuel is the answer to the failure of the judges of Israel. The prophet Samuel is brought up to appoint King Saul for the Israelites. While Saul has an outward appearance of a great king, his character flaws lead to his demise and his disqualification as the King of Israel.
