Lucas is from Lenoir, NC.  After high school, he followed his childhood dream and became a career firefighter.   Lucas is married to his best friend Laura, who is a teacher and they have one son, Bram.  They reside in Hickory, NC. He loves more than anything to spend time with his family.

He also spends time working out, cooking, reading, and playing golf every chance he gets.  He enjoys volunteering with youth in the community and serving in a variety of philanthropic organizations.

Lucas believes in serving God by serving others and also sharing his faith.
