WAYS TO GIVE
Give Online
- Step 1 – On your computer or smart phone go to www.mvbchickory.com.
- Step 2 – At the top right-hand side of the screen click the “Give” button
- Step 3 – You may choose to do a one-time donation, sign into your e-giving account (this is the same account you use to give on the church website) or register for a new account.
- Step 4 – If you are making a one-time donation or you are a returning user skip to Step 6. To register for a new account simple click the blue “Register For A New Account” link.
- Step 5 – Complete the form by entering your Name, Address, Email Address and Phone Number the tap the blue “Register” button.
- Step 6 – Complete the giving form by entering your Name, Email Address (should automatically populate), Phone Number (should automatically populate), choose the fund you wish to give to, Enter the amount you wish to give (you may give to multiple funds at one time by clicking add donation).
- Step 7 – You may add a comment in the comment box for any special instruction regarding your gift.
- Step 8 – If you wish to make this a recurring gift, tap the box located beside “Make This Gift Recurring”
- Step 9 – Tap the blue “Submit” button to complete your gift.
App Giving
- Step 1 – Download the MVBCHickory Church App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Step 2 – Tap the “Give” link in the app, this will take you to a new page telling you that you are about to leave the app to go to an external donation service. Tap the blue “continue” button to proceed.
- Step 3 – You may choose to do a one-time donation, sign in to your e-giving account (this is the same account you use to give on the church website), or register for a new account.
- Step 4 – If you are making a one-time donation or you are a returning user skip to Step 6 To register for a new account simple click the blue “Register For A New Account” link.
- Step 5 – Complete the form by entering your Name, Address, Email Address and Phone Number the tap the blue “Register” button.
- Step 6 – Complete the giving form by entering your Name, Email Address (should automatically populate), Phone Number (should automatically populate), choose the fund you wish to give to, Enter the amount you wish to give (you may give to multiple funds at one time by clicking add donation).
- Step 7 – You may add a comment in the comment box for any special instruction regarding your gift.
- Step 8 – If you wish to make this a recurring gift, tap the box located beside “Make This Gift Recurring”
- Step 9 – Tap the blue “Submit” button to complete your gift.
Text
- Step 1 – Text the amount you would like to give to 828-414-2515.
- Step 2 – If you are a first-time text giver, you will a text message prompting you to visit a secure website.
- Step 3 – Once you click the registration link in the text, you will enter your credit card / debit card information. (this will process your gift)
- Step 4 – You will receive a text confirming your gift.
- Here are some additional helpful tips following your first text gift.
- Tip 1 – If you only text a monetary value, the funds are automatically attributed to the church’s Budget/Tithe fund (Ex: $50)
- Tip 2 – If you text funds you will receive a reply text including a list of the fund names you can choose to donate to. (Ex: $50 Building)
- Tip 3 – If you text the amount you wish to give + the fund name, the amount will be applied to the fund you designated.
- Tip 4 – If the fund name you texted does not match, funds you will receive a reply text including a list of the fund names you can choose to donate to. Respond by entering the number of the correlating fund you wish to give to.
- Tip 5 – If you text “help” you will receive a reply message that states,
“To give enter the amount you wish to give, such as 100. You can also give to a specific fund by typing it after your amount, such as 100 building fund. - Tip 6 – If you text “reset” you will receive a reply that states, “Saved card information successfully removed. Please register your card information again when making your next gift by texting an amount to this number.”

- You may call Bonita Moser at the church office anytime between the hours of 8am and 12pm or 1pm and 5pm Monday through Friday at 828-330-0432. Bonita can process a debit card, credit card, or check over the phone.
