1. Fulfill the biblical obligations of a deacon as given to the church in 1 Tim. 3:8-13, allowing the pastoral staff to more fully focus on prayer and the ministry/ preaching of the word (Acts 6:1-4).
2. Serve on at least two of the Deacon Council Teams: Hospital Team, Comfort Team, Homebound Team, Practical Helps Team and Guest Visitation Team.
